Beat the cleaning panic before the party arrives

Get the tips you need to save youirself getting a stress headGetting the house clean before guests arrive can be stressful and finding a starting point can be time consuming, follow this simple guide and you will be cleaning your house in no time, you may even have time get the drinks all ready waiting for them as soon as they enter the door!

Step 1

Grab a basket and walk around the house picking everything off the floor and stairs, this may also include magazines lying on a table, doing this will automatically make every room cleaner and more presentable. Then leave the basket in a room, you know your guests won’t walk into, if you have time afterwards come back to it and put all the objects in their rightful home.

Step 2

Do a quick sweep and vacuuming, moving all the furniture out of the way.

Step 3

Turn over any cushions and puff them up so your sofa look welcoming, if there are some unexpected stains on the sofa quickly dash and pick up the Prochem Stain Pro, spray and blot and the stain will be gone.

Step 4

Now it is time for the hard surfaces wipe down all your furniture and fireplaces with a multi-purpose spray like Swift Clean and shine furniture polish, this is even great with wood and glass furniture pieces.

Step 5

Set the scene, use beautifully scented air freshener, set the table, have the drinks chilled in the fridge.

Step 6

If you have time go back to your basket that you filled at the beginning of the task and if you have time put everything back in its rightful place.
