Cleaning up the streets

According to a recent report 71% of Britons use chewing gum or mints as a means of freshening their breath, but it seems chewing gum is always discarded onto pavements. Local governments have been employing contracted cleaners for many years, costing £858 million annually.

However, a new chewing gum product is soon to come on the market that will help decrease litter and stains found along the streets. Rev7 is set to revolutionise the way we think about chewing gum. It is non-stick and dissolves in water, which helps reduce the stains that are normally associated with to the product.  

With the greatly anticipated arrival of the new Rev7 the government is hopeful to see a reduction in contract cleaning costs. Through this new product, removing chewing gum will optimistically become hassle free and the government’s spending will be reduced.
